** crap box ** the electronic knights pack series issue 16 * compiled and code by bifat * music soda7 * gfx nero back from the decrunch party here! ... this was a really good party in the truest sense of its word, in a small culture/concert hall in some former railroad area in the outskirts of wroclaw. Now these guys know their amiga shit and how to party. I have never seen as many amigas in an orga area. great amiga music mix playing silently and cheerfully in the background,... yes, people with some taste still do exist! party was small but complete, including bar, t-shirt sale, food trucks, compo network ... and not too much overload on saturday, but more emphasis on hanging around and party, inside and outside, as there was warm weather for this season. and of course, polish hospitality: you will never stand around alone and with no booze in your hand. strong amiga vibes all around. so this is how a party is made, it was only a bit disappointing that there wasn't much more competition, and we won the demo compo too easily once again, third time in a row. this party would scale very well, so consider visiting decrunch next time! after trouble with the locations in the past the new location is secured already I was told, IIRC ... Magic told us to release faster, so here we are... this issue was made at the decrunch party with not only a crapbox exclusive fixed version of abyss connection's production elfairy, the trsac intros, but also with our own latest production... oh, and btw. we had desire's intro before it was even shown at TRSAC. this should sufficiently demonstrate to magic that we can release at any speed we want. and not only stuff that everybody has already seen on the interwebs, but exclusive material, too. the points that need to be understood: adf on the interwebs is cheap - but crapbox is a disk release, and we cannot afford to sacrifice extremely valuable disk space to some petty internet dramaz. crap box is supposed to become a mostly complete ocs filedemo archive. we cannot make compromises in order to cater to the attention spans of internet dwellers... so that's it for today. :) special greetings this time to blackwine, jok, jazzcat, slayer, aceman, arabek, un amor, encore, floppy, and all the otters! oh sorry btw, this time around our own production kadesh isn't working properly on all amigas, you may especially experience problems on plain A1200, but probably you're lucky and it's working, or just craps out at return when exiting with left mouse button, which isn't a big issue. there won't be a fix. wrap...
